Our Mission Statement
The mission of UNTapped is to harness the power of music through connection, inspiration, and sharing in the human experience. Through our performances, we strive to foster genuine emotion, vulnerability, and authenticity—creating a space where every voice is valued, whether or not it takes the spotlight. As a group, we embrace competition as a platform to share our story rather than a measure of success. We are dedicated to striking the balance between community and commitment, ensuring that making music remains both meaningful and fun. Our culture is one of inclusivity and respect—where every member’s contributions, skills, and perspectives are recognized, and where all identities and beliefs are eagerly accepted. Above all, UNTapped is more than just a group—we are a community built on trust, collaboration, and a shared passion for music.

Starting an a cappella group comes with its challenges, and we’re raising $3,000 to cover four key essentials:
🎙️Microphone Equipment & Sound Gear – To truly share our sound with the world, we need high-quality microphones and audio equipment for rehearsals, performances, and recordings.
🎼Purchasing Arrangements - Unlike traditional bands, a cappella groups rely entirely on professionally arranged pieces. To craft our unique sound, we must purchase or commission custom arrangements, which require licensing fees and resources. Your support helps us bring our favorite songs to life!
🏆Competition Costs & Event Fees – We see competition as a platform to share our story rather than a measure of success. Participating in these events allows us to grow, learn, and connect with other talented musicians.
💚Keeping Membership Affordable – One of our core values is inclusivity, and that means making sure financial barriers never prevent someone from joining our group. Your donations help cover costs so that our members—no matter their financial situation—can focus on making music, not worrying about expenses.
